A former county social worker pleaded guilty yesterday to stalking movie
actress Jennifer Love Hewitt at a promotional appearance in San Diego last
year.

Diana Napolis, 47, of La Mesa, was treated for mental illness after her
arrest last fall on charges of making death threats against Love Hewitt.

At the time, she claimed in an interview with The San Diego Union-Tribune
that Love Hewitt and director Steven Speilberg were part of a satanic
conspiracy capable of "remotely manipulating my body via cybertronic
technology."

As part of her plea she agreed to stay away from Love Hewitt for 10 years, a
standard condition in such cases.

"She was under some stress at the time the incident occurred," defense
lawyer Robert Ford said in an interview.

A Los Angeles judge ordered Napolis last year to stay away from Spielberg at
the director's request.

Under the plea bargain reached yesterday in San Diego Superior Court,
Napolis is scheduled to be released from custody at the time of her
sentencing, Oct. 28.

She faced a six-year prison term but will have to serve only the time she is
incarcerated up to her sentencing.

She was arrested Nov. 26, and earlier this year was declared incompetent to
stand trial and was sent to Patton State Hospital near San Bernardino.

After treatment, she was found competent this summer.

A September 2000 Union-Tribune story detailed how Napolis used the code name
"Curio" to anonymously send hundreds of Internet postings from the mid-1990s
to 2000 accusing San Diego and San Francisco area figures of crimes against
children.

Napolis confronted Love Hewitt during a July 2000 appearance at a San Diego
radio station.

Court documents indicate that she also yelled "Murderer!" and "Killer!" at
Love Hewitt outside the Kodak Theater in Hollywood a year ago.

She was prevented from entering the Los Angeles premiere of a Love Hewitt
movie, "The Tuxedo," which was released by Spielberg's studio.

Napolis was arrested after she sent an e-mail to the webmaster of a Love
Hewitt fan site.

"I plan on firing a gun at her heart and not missing," she wrote, according
to court documents.

contact with her mother. The maternal grandmother
was involved with a man that Maine DHS ""THOUGHT""
was a pervert. (Notice no proof.)

in as a Foster Child. The child was found dead
in her basement, having been duct taped to a
high chair, and over her mouth.

I have personally dealt with CPS on three seperate occasions & I don't
know whether it's because they keep the decent people in the offices or
what, but the two time I initiated the contact regarding health and
safety issues for my daughter, they were incredibly helpful and
supportive (most recently they helped get the school district off their
asses to comply with federal law).. However, when my daughter was
diagnosed with diabetes, she wasn't diagnosed until she was comatose
(lasted 3 days) and the first words out of the CPS caseworkers mouth was
"your daughter is going to die and it's your fault. Even if she does
live, you'll never see her again"... My daughter recovered, and after an
investigation into the circumstances, I received a verbal apology from
the caseworker after they realized I had done everything I could have
(had been to the doctor twice in the previous 4 days and they missed the
dx).. I know many of the caseworkers have to deal with a lot of BS on a
daily basis but I will never *ever* forget that caseworkers face and how
much I wanted to beat the living fuck out of her for dragging me into a
room and saying something like that while my daughter was struggling for
her life in another room...

for me that does not exist. He filed an

I found old documents proving it was not so.
But they have refused to correct it for three years.
Three years of a childs life lost because they
FABRICATED a bogus ""Sex Abuse History"".

Once they did that, they could portray
other innocent family activities as perverted.

And the contractors when confronted with the
paper proof that the CPS caseworker LIED/Perjured?
They fail to do the ethical thing and ask
that the falsehood be correccted.
They'd have to bite the CPS hand that feeds them.
Money and income take priority over ethical
responsibility to stop the falsehood from causing
more harm to the family.

The good caseworkers you ran across before?
Probably part of the outrageously high turnover
rate in CPS agencies. Most of the ethical people
who start at CPS seem to leave. The crooked ones
love the legal immunity and groove on the power.
The first one in our case actually looked like
the wicked witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz.
She looked like the cliche' school marm or "old maid".

The huge gulf between the cultivated public
perception and the reality is most certainly
quite a dissappointment for ethical new workers.

Hard to keep up ego based on "saving kids" when
97% are removed from homes because of trivia.

It's not just the caseworkers.
Management all the way to the top (governor)
have refused to do the right thing about
the bogus ""Sex Abuse History"".

Between CYA behavior, fear of law suits,
paranoic belief that parents are ALL guilty,
or an "us" vs. "them" mentality, they are only
making things worse.

We're way past them naively believing that
they are doing good. They know they are not.

They probably wouldn't have gotten rid of
""Curio"" Napolis (despite her mindset)if
she hadn't become a public embarassment for them.

And if you want to see them really circle
their political wagons, look up how they
handle it when a caseworker is discovered
to be a REAL child molestor. (Geoff Rantz)

You won't see them making a lot of public
statements about the likes of Rantz.

If you watch how they hush those up you
might understand why they never went after
pervert priests for so many years.

Did ya ever wonder why most of the big news
stories about pervert priests never mentions
any CPS investigations??

All of those victims and none of the victims
or their families ever told CPS?
